The rear shock mounts on Isuzu NPS 4X4 trucks is a common failure point, particularly under heavy loads, off-road driving, corrugated roads and towing. Our engineered kits can be installed as a preventative upgrade to give extra piece of mind if you are doing regular off-roading or carrying heavy loads.

- We supply a fully bolt on pair of shock mounts that protect the shock from any damage off road These are very easy to install and we show you a step by step guide. Important note you must inspect existing shock mounts for any weld cracks, cracks through mounts and also shock pin. we have seen many fail over the years this is not a product to repair broken shock mounts but we do sell a heavy duty weld on kit.
- make sure you measure your U bolt threads to ensure you have a enough thread to mount our bolt on solution ( you need at least 3 threads exposed on any bolt ) Also make sure it has heavy duty washers and if deformation occurs when you need tightening you will need upgraded washers.
Remove Factory U Bolt Nuts.
Remove Factory Shock Mount Bolt.
Drop captive nut plate behind shock mount.
Clean all threads apply anti seize, install shock mount and finger tighten all bolts and nuts.
If using shocks with a rubber mount use factory shock washer.
Important to tighten the shock mount first this will ensure proper alignment. The M10 10.9 fine threads bolts are rated to be tighten to 70NM ( don’t use too much anti seize cause this could over torque the bolt) All bolts need to be re torqued after use.
Tighten the 2 x M10s on shock mount next
Tighten all U bolt nuts make sure you have heavy duty washers if the ones you are using deform make sure to upgrade them to thicker washers. Make sure you have enough thread exposed after they are tight minimum 3 threads exposed. Torque settings will need to be soruced from U bolt manufacture as this may vary. Again re check everything after use. If your u bolts aren’t long enough please contact a suspension supplier to assist with purchasing a correct set for new application.
