The Refab Engineering VDJ 130L Fuel Tank Brackets are designed for 80 and 105 chopped Utes and 40/80 conversions. These brackets will not fit wagons. The tank is raised within the chassis rail to provide maximum ground clearance, though it won’t work with the Refab Rear Cross Member, as a different solution has been developed.
- The tank can be flipped around after mounting to accommodate the filler neck on either side of the vehicle. The brackets are simple to install by bolting to the factory tank straps and self-locating on the rear chassis.
- Once installed, there’s enough space for exhausts on either side of the tank, preventing off-road damage. This is a budget-friendly long-range fuel tank solution for your build.
- You can source second-hand fuel tanks from local 4×4 accessory outlets. When the 79 Series Land Cruiser is upgraded to a larger fuel tank, the original 130-liter factory tank is often removed and becomes available for resale. This provides a source for second-hand tanks that can be reused or repurposed.
